Wow! At those prices well, worth a punt! Thanks Shevill If you buy in the UK or Australia, the gear you buy most likely is made & comes from China, certainly not made in Australia.
I buy direct from China all the time at a fraction of the 'local' and normal overseas prices, and in most cases the freight is free or very miinimal, not jacked up like it is from the USA, & UK to Oz.
Clear skies... Shevill

Hi Shevill
Have you had any problems ordering? My credit card would not verify, but I know it's fine. Now they want bank statements etc to go any further. Needless to say that's as far as I'm going with this.
Cheers
Rich

Never had a problem, I signed up to get an account first then just order and pay, done it dozens of times for a wide variety of items.

Heya guys new here and came across your forum looking for ln-300, just grab a 1200tvl for use in a all sky camera. I'll report back how it goes once it arrives and i get some time to play with it. The f1.4 lens should be alright, its no fish eye though it should give me an idea when the coast is clear hahah.
My wife just grabbed mine and didn't have an issue, btw she has a visa if thats any clue or help to your issue. I have used visa for many item's over the years in many country's from Asian UK and the USA and never had any issues. If your card is not visa have your bank issue you one, as alot of cards dinners ect in some cases are not accepted world wide.

Yeah davy, someone to share Video Astronomy with.
Can't get any club members even slightly interested in it. They are either Visual or Imaging.

Cranbourne Ken, you already have meet my wife paula at a previous snake valley camp mate haha. Caught one of your broadcast one night when she was on your channel watching A+ work Ken. She's all imaging though i've being trying to get her into video for awhile now. Have made up a nice portable pc which i plan to use for video at public viewing nights MPAS along with the goto 12" dob, though i think ill get more enjoyment at home using teamviewer sitting in my warm home enjoying the the sky. I plan on a scb-2000 for our first cam, i did have a network 1080p ccd though the shutter speed could not be up'd nor sense up so it was just no good for the job . I had it given to me by a tradie mate www.samsungsecurity.com/product/product_view.asp?idx=6466Won't start another thread though this may help some of you guys outits a camera to telescope adapter, they also sell a c to cs lens adapter for $5 www.altronics.com.au/p/s9789-cop-security-c-cs-telescope-adaptor-ring/

Just rocked up today guys which is a bit of a joke whats that 1 month hahah. Mine came with a BNC for video and an strange power plug, the lens looks kind of cheap though the good news is i have a 4mm-9mm F1.6 of another camera, which is a shame it doesn't have sense up as its a 1/3 ccd I'll get some pic up tommorow and give it a test this weekend

Pity it hasn't got sens-up, but will still be good for Lunar/Planetary work anyway.

Yeah davy, someone to share Video Astronomy with. Can't get any club members even slightly interested in it. They are either Visual or Imaging. Ken I have just been to the ASV Galactic party at the Heathcote Dark Sky site and was very impressed. I saw a lot of sophisticated gear for both viewing and imaging but was surprised to see no video astronomy as I was hoping to get a few pointers. There is no-one else in Bendigo with a video camera on a scope as far as I know. Why is video astronomy slow to take off around Central Victoria ?.I intend to take up your offer and head over to Snake Valley on one of your dark sky nights for a few pointers. Back in July I put in an order for an APU-1 from Astro Video systems . When that arrives is probably a good time to head over your way so that someone who knows what they are doing can evaluate it. It appears I might be waiting quite a while as there are a lot of back orders. I am aware of all the argey bargey that went on between Mallincam and Astro Video on the Cloudy Nights forum. It will be interesting to see how thy compare Paul
