Soldering Kit, Dremel kit . . . All these tools will end up costing more than the camera Good to see someone else going full hog into modding these cameras. Good stuff davy.

Update. .front panel now drilled and ground to size. The idea is to unscrew silver back focus adapter out and then use it to mount front panel to camera..second 80mm fan not appeared yet so will use first as a template. .and mark it up for drilling and burring tomorrow. .davy

Cutting second hole a disaster ..70mm hole cutter poor , not cutting clean started snagging and bending casing so binned it and started again, drilled 3 40mm holes overlapping each other..will trim to a single hole and fit the two fans shoulder to shoulder..contacted ebay sellar on non show of my second fan , replacement getting sent out..hopefully get more done tomorrow top casing anyway..no rush..lol Peltier arrived .need to work out mounting position now.

Top casing cut out as a rectangle instead of holes first fan fitted and mounted as to suck out hot air from casing. .not the fastest of fans at 1600 rpm but says its 30 cfm so here's hoping it does what it says..second fan has arrived today so will take it to work tomorrow and fit and bring home for assembly. ..

the top casing has two 80mm fans fitted,,peltier device is fitted between lower case and heat sink this is to chill the camera casing rather than the board and should keep condensation down,,,the board will be sprayed with pcb spray to protect it as well..40mm fan will be mounted inside at front lens board.

You had the fan blowing air away from the circuit board?

Yes it removes heat better.. than trying to blow air on chip to cool..davy
