Saturn was only 27 degrees altitude at the time I captured an avi video. Process this video using Registax 6 into a final image. I was using my VRC10" @ F8 for 2000 mm focal length only and my Mallincam SSI-C camera. Seeing conditions were a 2 - 3 out of 5 only. I am quite pleased with the results considering the challenges I was facing. I am also not very good at processing the planets as several people here (my passion is DSO's), but I had a lot of fun trying this out and will do more in the future. www.flickr.com/photos/47296963@N08/14092323598/Chris A Astrogate

Nice! Hadnt got a look at Saturn yet hopefully soon. Thank you very much Carl. Yes Saturn is a great planet to view but is very low this year. Give it a try and see it is my favorite planet to look at.
Cheers,
