Hi All After taking your welcomed advice I used a video shoot to capture Saturn, and then processed it using Registax and Photoshop Elements 8. (May have overdone it a bit Number of Frames... 629 Time ms................ 265 Exposure Time........1500. Camera.................Opticstar PX 75 Camera Software....Opticstar View. Third attempt. Hears the result. Cheers Pete

I think your camera is working fine Pete. I managed to take out the slight vibration by using installation tape. I guess for the price I expected a bit more. As I gain more experience I might get to love it, or loath it, . I need to get a few 'Essentials' like a dew shield/heater and then (when budget allows), I might start looking around for something capable of shooting Deep Space. Thanks for all your help guys. As I develope I'll probably have quite a few more questions. Quite a while ago my brain could process data like a Mainframe. Now its more like a Commodore 64. Cheers All Pete

Looks good. A bit over sharpened but you brought out a good deal of detail Nice shot of Saturn Pete and I agree with Hemmi regarding the sharpness which is causing some colour noise.

Hi All, Taking the wet weather opportunity to practice my limited processing skills. Looks like I'll have quite a while to practice this, long distant forecast promises nothing but rain and overcast skies. Gloom, doom, and more gloom. Cheers Pete.
