Hello Carlos, Allan and Lee,
Thanks for joining me tonight and sorry for the abrupt closure but NSN kept booting me out and the last time I could not get back on. Just one of many issue tonight! Still mustn't grumble I've had a good run the last few nights.
Anyway I was about to say, thanks and good night

Don't worry about it. It was my cue to go to bed.

Karl, it happens a lot to some of us. It's not a fault with NSN, it is a bandwidth problem with Adobe Flash. If flash isn't happy with your bandwidth it won't talk with NSN, so NSN loses connection with it.
Sucks, and until Adobe do something about it, it will keep happening. It does the same in several websites that use Adobe Flash.

Thanks Ken, I had no idea why but it was annoying to say the least. I have much to learn so thanks for the info.

Ive finally got internet again!! Got the fibre optic thing now. It works out more than 10 times faster than my old broadband for both download and upload speed. Will see what kinda improvement i get on NSN hopefully less crashes!

What is considered fast with this kind of thing? Someone mentioned if I wanted to broadcast HD SDI I needed (among other criteria) some decent upload speed. Now I'm not sure how accurate this is but just did a speed test and I'm at 29 MB down and 9MB up. This is BT Infinity.

Yeh Karl thats rapid. BT infinity is the fibre optic thing. I couldnt get it for another month so went with Sky instead. Your not going to get much faster than that anytime soon i dont think.
How long have you had it? And your still seeing loads of crashes in NSN etc yeh?

Great good to know and yes I have loads of crashes so maybe it's not NSN after all! I've had Infinity for a while now and long before I started broadcasting. I was looking at Infinity 2 which has 76 down and 19 up but BT said I would not get it with my location. They did say I could improve the speed by plugging in the data cable, been going wireless doh! I'm now looking on how to improve the pc spec as I get a lot of CPU warnings! I just need an IT expert to show me how to do it! What's your weather like Chris, we need some broadcasting I'm getting withdrawal symptoms!
