I am trying to get as many items from my list from fewer shops and came across this FR on Adomara. www.adorama.com/OSVIFR.htmlFirst choice is a GSO or Antaras FR but since there are a couple of other items I will order from Adorama I thought I'd get this Variable. It's $20 more than the GSO .5FR. Any opinions on this varible ? Should I stay away from it ? Any help, tips advice most welcome..

Rob I have the opticstar vari FR, but only used it twice so I cant give you a honest and informative opinion on them. The only reason I went for that is that they say its for imaging so I went for it. sorry I cant give you any more info on it.
This is the English write up, same has your's over there, you could add another ring making it 4 and bring it down further still

Thanks for the link John, it's very helpful. I think I may dish out the extra $20 and get that one, unless I hear from some one or others that it's not worth it.

Would seem like a sensible purchase Rob. The extra rings obviously gives you a choice of reduction so you can vary the FOV. I don't have rings with my Antares FR, so have to have a selection of various length nosepieces instead. The rings would be handy for me.

That's one of the reasons why this one caught my eye, besides the price. Now I just have to sell one more scope and then pull the trigger and order all the gear to get started.
