Hopefully I'll be able to find something that works. Im confused on your issue mate. You said the quality is poor. So you must have it working. But in terms of quality if you want better then its gonna cost a lot. I have a dazzle 100 i think they go for about £50. Its no better than the ezcap from what i can tell so far. A couple of guys here have the mallincam grabber and say its amazing. But they are not cheap.

I might have gotten a defective one. I contacted the dealer and they are giving me a refund. The one from Mallincam is way beyond my budget. I can afford one up to $50 US.

Sounds like a bad connection, is the usb plug a loose fitting into the pc? my Chinese copy was and I just got a pair of pliers on it to crimp it up a bit, and now its as snug as a bug in a rug.

I tried different ports and even a different pc. I also hooked the camera directly to a tv to test the video cable and camera and there was no issues there. Thank you everyone for the help and information.

I thought my Easycap was pretty good until I plugged in my Mallincam grabber. It gives a smoother view, no jerky video feed, and no grainy noisy bits. But you get what you pay for. The two I have are the MVC-1 HD, not the MCV-1- E HD. Cost is $80 US dollars. The ' E' model is $150 US dollars.
