My Night Skies Network Live broadcast from 3rd March 2022. Canon 450d in a 200mm Newtonian Reflector mounted on an EQ6. Image capture with 'Backyard EOS' Mount GoTo's by 'Cartes du Ciel' through Skywatcher Synscan WiFi adaptor. No filters, Barlows or Focal Reducers.

Good stuff Ken. I thought we may have been losing you to long exposures and post processing . It was your website and youtube videos that taught us a lot back in the early days of videoastronomy (camera assisted astronomy) and the mallincam xtreme. I am glad the Night Skies Network is back. It is ideal for CAA and very instructive cheers Paul

Thanks Paul. Nah, you won't lose me to long exposure imaging and post-processing. Been there and done that. I do enjoy doing that, but that is only for my own benefit and to occasionally post something in here I think might interest people. But my real pleasure in Astronomy is still fast short exposure images with warts and all. Yeah, pretty pictures are nice, but they get so over processed they aren't real any more. A quick single frame snap shows what is really there. Satellites, dust in the sky, fog, etc.
