Hi Harry, Thank you for your welcome. Ken{Dragon Man} has been a great help with a lot patience. You have an interesting Avatar photo. Is that steam engine the Royal Scotsman? Mike. The steam engine is 60163 Tornado, which was built new by steam enthusiasts. They started off in 1990 by donating the price of a pint of beer each month (£1.25) and the project grew until they had enough money to start and build the locomotive. The money raising principle is a lot of people donating regular small amounts and it worked. Tornado's story here - www.a1steam.com/They are also building a P2 locomotive - www.p2steam.com/Drawings for the project were supplied by the National Railway Museum - www.railwaymuseum.org.uk/Avatar picture was taken during Tornado's initial trials/commissioning work carried out at the GCR preserved railway at Loughborough, the loco was painted in grey primer then before being painted in various colours that it would have been during the original loco's working life.
