The skywatcher evo guide 50ed has jumped up £20 in the last couple of days with other retailers following along the lines of first light optics, I know it's only £20 but it annoyed me lol, So,, been racking my brain on how to proceed with the portable set up,, And keep everything interchangeable with the rest of my kit, Had thought about the samyang 14mm lens at f2,, but like everything else during lock down prices are getting stupid.. Good if you are a seller,, I suppose. I could use the 5d mk2 and the lens on the kit,, put the 178 on the evo guide 50ed and be ok.. But I'm a telescope guy.. So next plan.. Look at small scopes.. www.firstlightoptics.com/william-optics/william-optics-zenithstar-61-ii-apo.htmlAnd this seems to fit what I'm after,, not much of a price increase from the Mk1,, the mk2 comes with a carry handle that will take the 50ed guide scope and it also comes with a decent dovetail,, It's a doublet, so the glass is good, comes with built in bahatinov mask built in as well and a soft case. Certainly didn't want to go this kind of money but,, I think this is definitely my final piece of the puzzle. Keeping everything as small as possible but at a great standard
