I live near an airport (East Midlands) so this box could be busy!
Just for a laugh when I was setting up my first telescope in the garden I managed to track an aeroplane as it went over with a EQ5 mount. Just one of those daft things you do just because you can. My wife asked me if I could see the pilot and was he having a coffee, well if he was as I could see then his coffee would have been in his lap as the view was upside down! That was my first scope and had set it up during the day to avoid fiddling about in the dark, I don't miss tripod legs as inevitably you would catch one and I've come close to tipping the rig over. Once I had spent ages finding a comet, got the scope on it and then caught one of the tripod legs, aaarrrggghh!
Interesting bit of kit though Davy, just shows how vast a subject Astronomy is and how many different ways to do stargazing.
