Hello guys, I'm from Brazil and my name is Arthur, I had an account here on the forum, I even have my astrobin fixed in the members gallery area, as I saw that my forum account was deleted, I decided to create another. I stayed a long time away from the hobby, for some problems, I sold a good part of the little equipment I had, but now that I decided to go back, I saw that the only cameras available here in Brazil (SCB 2000) are very expensive. Reading over the top here on the forum I saw that there are some cheap options out there ... so I would like to ask you for help: which good and cheap camera can I buy around there? Would any of you have any to sell at a fair price? Thank you all for getting me back!

Hello Friend! It's good to be back! I liked the camera, but it is still a little out of my reach at this moment. Is there any cheaper? I heard about an LN 300 but researched it and didn't see much about it. Is it also a good one? where do I find? Thanks!

Hi Arthur,, welcome back to the forum.
The ln300 you will struggle to find,, they went out of business not long after the astronomy community started using them... They were a flash in the pan camera gone very quickly.. The main camera was the Samsung scb2000 series for a cheap analogue camera to do astronomy,, you require a camera with,, sense up feature (512) was the usual.. Hurivon was another analogue camera,, this was also badged as a Phil dyer camera and had sense up to 1024 if my memory is correct.. Mintron was another make but it was pricey in the UK. Watec 102 cameras are very good,, though not much sense up but a very low lux camera,, ebay would be best source. Unfortunately if folk know a camera can be used for astronomy,, they bump up the price.

Buy second hand Arthur. Look in your local online trading website or ebay for Brazilian sellers.
