Got the Leo Triplet last night on both R8 with 294 camera and the C6 with the 178 C6 hyperstar, ZWO 178 13s x 23 IR cut filter R8,294 on sharpcap 10s x 18 no filter
R8 hamburger 10s x 18

same again with a small expand 4 on astrotoaster c6 13s x 23 R8 10s x18

Tried out the ZWO290 on the R8 tonight.The first time I used the 290 on the R8, I had the back focus measurements out by about 4mm and the stars looked very bloated. Tonight was better. M66 and M65 to its right. 10sec x 6 stack. No processing. cheers Paul

Nice shot Paul ... seems like you have worked through the gremlins with the Rasa. Top stuff.
I see a planes strobe light coming in from the 9 o'clock position? Hours unobstructed view and the moment you turn on the camera they seem to "know" where you are pointing. LOL.

Thanks Ken and Howie. The plane went straight through the centre of M66.
My kids wanted me to get a pic of M87. My pic was just a boring white fuzz ball. I was hoping to capture the jet on M87 but no go. cheers Paul
