Tonight the moon is late and the sky will be clear.
Leo is in a good position, full of galaxies waiting ... haha
The hunt begins

M 95 was one of the galaxies in the key Hubble Space Telescope project to determine the Hubble constant by looking for Cepheid variables within galaxies, and thereby determining their distance. The result for M 95, corrected with Hipparcos satellite's Cepheid brightness zero point, is a distance of 35.5 million light years. NOTES: The peak of the histogram reached almost 33%. The Moon, hidden behind a hill, was already beginning to clear the sky in the East. Normally with this exposure and this gain the histogram peak does not exceed 25%..some detail less SKW QUATTRO+ RT IMX224 * RT software

M 105 is a giant elliptical galaxy with an absolute magnitude of -20.6, corresponding to a luminosity of 15 billion suns. Its true diameter is in excess of 35,000 light years. Investigations with the Hubble Space Telescope have revealed that M 105 contains a supermassive central black hole, of about 50 million solar masses. In the same shot we see also NGC 3384 another elliptical galaxy and NGC 3389 a spiral galaxy NOTE: The colors are real, I have not highlighted any over another. I used the SAMPLE option from Startools. SKW QUATTRO+ RT IMX224 * RT software

Nicely done Carlos. The colours are fantastic!
Yes, the Moon is getting later each night. I hope to try again tonight too.

NGC 3227 and 3226 are two galaxies separated by 10 million light years but due to an optical effect they seem to be neighbors. Notes: Very high humidity night. Heating ribbon + fan to the maximum SKW QUATTRO+ RT IMX224 * RT software

NGC 3239 is an irregular galaxy with very powerful star formation zones that stand out in blue colors on the dark background of the sky. In the same photo you can see countless small and distant galaxies, some more than 650 million light years of yellowish color that differ from the stars of our Milky Way, whiter.
