M41 from wednesday 14 Dec.Camera - ASI071Pro (got it upgraded) bin x2 Telescope - GTF81 80mm refractor Mount - CGEM Focal Reducer/Barlow - none Filters - UV/IR optolong Exposure length - 60s Stacks - x5 Software - Captured with Sharpcap & processed with astrotoaster Settings - Gain unity Any Processing (on-the-fly) - Flat corrected and tweaked levels etc in astrotoaster Conditions - before moonrise General Location (Town or area & State & Country) - Northern Sydney suburbs
Edit - the whitish bits are from a tree. And I thought M41 had risen above the tree in our backyard.

I turned the gain right down and did a longer exposure length to try and avoid saturation. I reckon star clusters are really hard compared to a lot of DSOs. You can just crank up the volume on DSOs and get nice colour.
