Done a couple of tests and new wifi dongle seems ok. So tonight at above times going to broadcast on www.nightskiesnetwork.com as AussieHowie. * Moon will be 95%. * Going to be tough with both full Moon, and I'm broadcasting from my 144 townhouse/pool/tennis courts, etc complex in the 2.3 million pop city of Brisbane, and I don't have any LP filters. * Using 300mm f/5 goto dob, unmodded canon 700d, eos utilities live view, dss_Live in combo with adobe lightroom (!) in full automatic import and process mode. * Going to do Moon tour using DSLR LiveView video feed at 330x magnification. Spoke to George K on NSN last night and hope he can join us as his knowledge and stories about stuff on the Moon is second to none. * After Moon tour I want to keep refining and pushing the Lightroom auto process technique. Going to be primarily doing just four iso3200 8 sec frames stacked. Will be bright targets cos dim stuff is going to be impossible with Moon and LP from my place. I can barely see Alpha Centuri at my place! Also limited with anything below 30 degrees because of two story townhouses all around. But, it's all about having some fun and pushing new techniques and just getting out there. * If weather or other things stop me from broadcasting, I'll post up a cancellation notice. cheers AussieHowie

Unless I get a LP filter I am doomed from setting up at my place! It's impossible. However, had a crack and found some issues with the DSS_Live and Lightroom processing. Or, rather my total lack of knowledge of how to use Lightroom (other than a few sliders).
I'll give it another crack in a weeks time when the Moon is not 97% full, and also drive 5 minutes down the road to the sea front. The LP at my place is crazy. It's also bloomin hard to broadcast on a tiny 13" laptop. I hate carrying extra stuff with me, but a second 12V monitor would greatly help ... slide the NSN tool and the actual broadcast image across to that screen leaving the laptop free to show me EOS Utils and Toaster/Lightroom and DSS stacking. I'd then be able to see the chat window which is currently hidden on the laptop screen behind AT/LR etc.
Also have to figure out why DSS_Live stacking continues to process any frames from a previous stack after I respond to its question about ignoring them in the affirmative ... but then it still processes them anyway! So currently, I have to stop it and manually clear out the folder of all previous frames for the previous object.
Cheers
