Well it seems to work ken. Click 'calendar, click 'New Event choose 'date in popup calendar selct appropriate sub forum Enter heading and text click, create event.
The event is then shown on the calendar, and in the forum you chose. Just like this one.

Would be nice if it was broken down into time slots too. That could then translate to whatever your local time is. So you know exactly when to logon to catch someones show from different timezones etc. Prob asking too much tho

You could enter the time in UTC, then everyone could relate to it.

May I suggest a sticky with a naming format for casts so that they are easy to see in the forum, especially if a large number are eventually created it will make finding old /new ones easier. Open to ideas but a suggest is: yyyy/mm/dd hh:mm (UTC) - name Example 2014/01/17 10:30 UTC - BrisbaneSkies Reason for year month day is that order is for making sorting easier - and personally if all the first digits are the same it becomes easy to run your eyes to the correct day. Having UTC is important so that anyone in the world can work out correct time for there own time zone. If you are unsure about how to convert - www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.htmlPlug in the details in the first section, select UTC as second option and it displays the correct DATE & TIME As a follow up - as long as you can edit your subject line - you add a (cancelled) to it if something comes up like clouds etc. Then linking photos back into this thread gives a nice start / finish to a cast.
