Maybe will not be the best picture but is the kind of pictures that make me to love video astronomy. In a dark part of the sky above, suddenly appears a nice elliptic galaxy... and a blue bright star.... and a faint double orange stars all together forming a beautiful frame. How many nice things are up there for discover? NGC 4494/ GX+ DS/ COMA BERENICES/ EXPO= 17X15" stack/ FWHM=3,8/ ALTIT= 50ยบ/ Moon=0

Lovely Elpajare. I did an experiment one night. I slewed my telescope to anywhere and photographed it. I captured a lovely little star cluster of the type I would never normally bother with. It was fun so I did it again and got a lovely view of a tiny faint galaxy and a spray of silver looking stars across the FOV It was stunning. I must try it again because it was fun. I have no idea what I was looking at because I never looked them up on a star map. That would spoil the fun of it

I agree, that would be fun - I want to try that, too.
One thing I've been thinking is to take a random shot of the sky and upload it to Astrometry.net to have it identify objects, then go back and label stars and their magnitudes on the image so I can understand what my depth of field is at certain exposures.
Sometimes my goto is a little off and I find myself trying to compare the live image with the stars shown in Stellarium and not having a whole lot of success.
