That was quick off the mark. I notice this tutorial has been on youtube for 7 hours. I was hoping someone would do a good one. Last week I endured the 9 minutes of heavy breathing and sniffling which was one of the tutorials on sharpcap2.9 polar alignment but really didnt learn a lot from it.

Thanks Davy, that is a very helpful Video. He rattles on a bit too much (could leave off the last 15 minutes) but his actual instructions are quite good. I'm going to try it to see how close my permanent setup is to perfect Polar Alignment. If it works well, and easy, I'll show it to Tim (another club member) so he can do it too

Martin is passionate about astronomy and it's always good to see some videos to see how to do things you read about, I might even try polar alignment one day,, can't ever say I will see the north star from the flat windows and carols building is so high it blocks it's view from her garden. My trusty phone with Google sky map has to do for me. Try and point scope at image on phone
