Fantastic program! Interestingly, Ivo, the creator and owner of StarTools lives not far from me here in Oz! Unusual to get Astronomy Processing programs written in Oz. www.siliconfields.net/about

hi ken,, I noticed it had quite a few ozzy fans who rate it highly.. watched the video and was impressed,, started watchint one on utube that's over two hours long,,but was late on,,so will watch in instalments.. I have emailed ivo last night and offered a vendor section,,no reply yet... busy doing my mot tester refresher course today,,three hours training then a questionnaire ,,firt attempt 76% which is a pass but was too quick ,,so I took it again to make up my 3hrs required 66% ,,then I done it again and got 76% every time you take it they change the questions,,got a pass each time but I want my score into the 90% mark,, you had 45 mins and I was doing 30 questions in 13 minutes right off the cuff no checking for correct answers,,so I'm happy

looks like a nice program, and you can use the fully working demo as long as you like before you buy.

I bought a license for Startools a while back. I love it. I don't get too into the weeds with it but it works well for cleaning up my images.

Yes its really good. Does a nice fast stretch and clean up. From sharpcap I usually save a png (already processed live) and a fits file (to process in startools).

I've not tried it with a fits file yet. Here is a before and after with one I consider my best. I cropped out the capture details:
