Well done video interview with Leonard Susskind about the evolution of thinking from Einsteins large scale relativity down to small scale quantum mechanics and how to have a theory of everything. Susskind gives credit to Hawking for using black holes to pose the question of what happens to the 'stuff' which goes into a black hole, which lead to the maths behind it all yielding clues to the event horizon being where all that 'stuff' ends up (so isn't destroyed). And then onto the maths behind the cosmic background radiation which seems to be 'stuff' smeared at a far distant 'horizon' and how the maths does actually lead to 'information/stuff' allowing it to exist in two places at once. www.dailygalaxy.com/my_weblog/2017/01/universe-could-be-a-hologram-the-window-into-the-uncharted-world-of-quantum-gravity.html#more

I'll have to have a look. I like reading about "stuff" even if it goes way over my head.

Interesting. Seems counter-intuitive to me. We've long known that Maxwell's E&M equations work in 11 dimensions. I'm not sure about the model of quantum level lower dimensionality.
