Thanks for everyone's help last night.
Started out weird - I could see my preview in NSN (flash). But everyone viewing would only see grey. But the preview screen (as shown prior to clicking on a broadcast to watch would display a snapshot correctly of what I saw within my program). This caused a number of head stratches. Eventually Allan (Thankyou!) pointed out adjustment of the flash global settings might be in order (right click on the preview screen in NSN under the settings option called global settings), once I reset the microphone/webcam options, we were in business.
Unfortunately I had other issues during all this Firefox/chrome/flash app crashes...
Firefox seeing the capture device but chrome wouldn't, then eventually flash app would crash every time Firefox was used to broadcast, I need to change to chrome. This required the use of manycam (which flash could see) and selecting the capture screen of VDub.
Plus, my newly made hand controller cable with rj45(8p8c) plug would keep falling out, this required realignment each time. The alignment wasn't the greatest to begin with as the grass is a little long and as the weight of the telescope changes the position, the grass would give a little resulting in changes in position... I've come up with a solution just need to make it. (If that didn't make sense, I'm using a Dob)
Added to all this the requirement to jump back and forth between computer and camera to adjust settings (can't wait for a cable!!!). The frustrations were many but at least now sorted.. Well nearly.
in the end 7pm-1:30am, very little the way of images were broadcast, I was tired and over it. Decided to pull the plug and start fresh again next time (hopefully tonight.... Cloud dependant).
