Mostly just testing alignment procedures and some focal combinations with the SSI. By best images of Mars and Jupiter were, of course, not captured and happened before it got fully dark. Here's Jupiter with 2x Barlow and SSI. A crop of a screenshot of the Universe/SSI app's live view with about a 400ms exposure. And here's Saturn with no Barlow, just the SSI. This is a crop of a screenshot of the Universe/SSI app's live view. I believe the exposure was 200ms.

Nice images Rick. Which scope in your quiver did you use for those?

Oh sorry, Howie, this is my new 9.25" Celestron Evolution (F/10, Alt-Az). I have a public event coming up July 2nd and need to get more experience so that it can be smooth as possible.
Thanks, Ken! One of these days I'll see about trying some stacking to see what that could do. But for now, I'm good with these live screenshots - pure video astronomy.

Nice Jupiter Rick. The SSI on your new Evolution 9.25 is yielding some nice planetary images. Keep it up, I look forward to following your progress.
