Hi Group
As promised I posted some video (3 tutorial videos) on Youtube showing clearly how to simply make your very own Amp Glow Masks for all (MC Jr. Pro, MCX/X2 and Xterminator) video camera made by Mallincam. Now these videos were created using two still images captured one night during my NSN broadcast, but last night under mostly cloudy skies I was able to test the masks on a live image using my Xterminator and they worked extremely will removing all amp glow and lines without affecting the whole FOV.
Please review all three video in sequence and try to make some on your own custom masks. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions and I will do my very best to help you out.
Take Darks for Amp Glow Masks Video Part 1
Processing Amp Glow Masks Video Part 2
Applying The Amp Glow Masks Using Miloslick Video Part 3
Hope you enjoy and learn from the videos and this will help enhance your live viewing experience of all DSO's. Thank you!

Chris I managed to catch about 10 minutes of your broadcast the other night as I was ready to jump into bed and you was demonstrating with it on and off and not loosing any star brightness resolution. Thanks Chris for taking the time to show a demo on NSN and making a 'how to' video.
I don't know if it would be benefical to me because I only have a alt az mount, and about 45 secs max exposure, maybe with a mask I could ramp up the agc as I always leave it at 4 in miloslick.
thanks John

Hi John
Yes keeping your exposures under 45 seconds will help keep the amp glow at bare minimum. You want to keep your AGC set as low as your mount can possibly handle and this will provide better colour rendition, smaller stars and less noise. I would stay with AGC 4 if it works good for you John. Thank you very much for the feedback.
