A few Live screen Grabs from last night using the new model Revolution Imager LN-300 11811 camera, Meade SN10 f4, EQ6 mount, no filters, 0.8x FR @ x1024 with AGC low and 3D-DNR medium. Although I don't like to do post-processing, in this case I ran these 8 pics through Picture Code's 'Noise Ninja', an add-on filter in PhotoShop. One click and noise is gone. But that is all the post-processing done to them.

These look a lot smoother and better than the other's in the other thread Ken, pity about the banding but it looks less than the others

Don't know why they would look smoother John. I posted the same pics in both. Unless some of the others are with the internal stacking (3D-DNR) turned off. I didn't take notes as I went along. I should.

Is that interference banding? Because I dont notice it in all of the images.

I haven't sourced the banding problem yet Rick. I would have thought that if it was interference it would move around a bit and not look identical in all the images it appears in. It isn't in the old camera and they were plugged and wired identical. As I got a screen grab I would switch cameras, then go to another object then switch cameras again, and I kept doing this all night. The black marks stayed in the same place. The lines don't bother me. I'm just happy that I can see objects in such great detail with such a small cheap camera. This is a great product for beginners and more experienced people. I've seen far worse from Sammy's and some other beginner cameras

To show where I get my Screen Grabs from, here's my video to show them 'Live'. It is the actual Live view I got the screen grabs from It shows just how good this camera is!

I like how they've put all the relevant adjustments in the exposure submenu - AGC, DNR, lens etc. Rather than having to jump between submenus.
Oh .. and the pics look great. Wonder what has been changed ?

Why the Meade rather than your refractors for these shots ?

I swap scopes around a lot Chris. One of the problems of having a lot of scopes is to play with them all I also swap focal reducers around too. It gets a bit dull doing the same thing all the time. It's nice to get the same objects at different focal ratios and FOV. Otherwise it's just the same old view each time It's like Visual. Swapping eyepieces constantly.

These look a lot smoother and better than the other's in the other thread Ken, pity about the banding but it looks less than the others John, I must apologise. My above Screen grabs are smoother because I accidentally posted the ones I ran through Picture Code's 'Noise Ninja'. It's an add-on filter in PhotoShop. One click and the noise is gone. Sorry about the confusion. I have edited my original post to suit.
