I got a used SSi (color) from a gent in the UK a few months back and just haven't gotten around to giving it a go. Last night, we were lucky to have a clear night and it was not too cold at first, so I got a chance to get the Universe/SSi software loaded and configured and the camera setup and do some experimenting. No issues at all, everything came right up. The software interface was a little different, but I got used to it real fast. Then, suddenly, my son came out and so we looked at the live view for a bit. Then, we brought up Google Earth in Moon View and I rotated and scaled to match our live view. I was able to show him, in our live view, the different Apollo landing spots where we walked on the moon. It really lit up his imagination and I learned a lot too!
