Cctv dvr four channel update... Bought this to allow multiple cameras to be used on my video rig..the initial idea was to run three cameras, one on the scope was to be a pd1 because if its higher integration, second a peltier cooled Samsung scb2000 with a variable zoom lens. .third was possibly a second pd1..the prob I had was I could not put saved video to the usb port from the dvr hard drive..would not recognise the usb memory card. .attaching an external hard drive was recognised by allways said checking..so no joy..got a router and fitted it to dvr and computer problems again I dont use a landline just my mobile with built in hot spot so I can attach to my laptop..no joy again. .then I saw the guys were splitting the signal from the dvr to monitor and linking to usb grabber. ..fitted it all together and it works a treat..multiple camera feeds can be recorded to the 1.5 tb dvr hard drive and a feed can be recorded to laptop via video grabber...the playback from the dvr hard drive will also be abke to be captured to video grabber..the problem was overcome at last feel a right idiot I never even thought of splitting the monitor av feed..well done guys...multiple camera video astronomy is the way to go...hope this helps others..davy
