Looking closer at the image, it is labeled as WIFI DC 5V 500mA, which is different than the SkyRaider DSm that I have which is 250mA. The sticker also shows that its a 720p 1/2.5" APTIMA CMOS Sensor with an "ultra-fine color engine" inside, whatever that means. Although it looks spookily like my Mallincam SkyRaider DSm, its obviously not the same on the inside. I can see where people who didn't look closely would just assume that the SkyRaiders are microscope cameras and post that to various forums. --Rick

I never made the connection. It was just that it was wifi.good idea if you geta stable Image..wifi on astro cameras next i think.

Good catch, Ken! I'm not even sure if that CMOS chip is worth a crap... I bet its fine for normal lighted conditions but doesn't have a low Lux rating.
