Hi Folks,
An icy blast has been roaring up from the Southern Ocean this week, dumping early snow on Mt Wellington, giving Hobart a magnificent backdrop, an ever changing picture postcard. Clear skies... Shevill

Yes Shevill, this cold blast is a surprise! An unpeasant one.
The wind is still currently howling with freezing temps but you are about 5 degrees celsius lower than here. I think the Snowfields might get busy this Snow season.
Beautiful photo.

Stunning view! Sorry you guys are getting hit with nasty weather so early. Seems like all of your weather has arrived earlier than expected the whole year.

Rick, it is hailing and snowing here tonight and they say more tomorrow! Shevill will be getting lots at his place. This is caused by a strong front that has blown up from Antarctica. The wind is really strong. Weather Bureau forecast 'Damaging Winds'. Boy o Boy it's cold tonight And it's not winter yet
