After reading the thread on the american forum "Cloudy Nights" I decided to order the SC2000 cctv board camera myself. At 25 euros complete with case and shipping cost I supposed I couldn't be wrong. The camera arrived after a month or so in excellent shape. I decided to go the DIY way and use a small plastic project box though and to install a small fan in it. Today with the help of a friend the project was completed. The fan works ok but introduces electronic noise in the shape o horizontal lines that roll down the screen. We used it with the fan off though on the sun through his refractor and it works fine! Have to try it on deep sky too. I also ordered a brushless fan too. I hope it will not produce noise... (any ideas / solutions for the electronic noise?) Attached the camera as it arrived from Hong Kong and the completed project. The holes are for ventilation purposes and the small switch for turning the fan on and off
