This is not the first camera I bought as a newbie..my first camera was the watec 202d, seen it cheap on ebay and jumped in the listing was nearly ending and couldn't let this baby go...well on I go to sgl with the hi guys ive just bought this phrase ...to get brought straight back to reality. .it wasn't sensitive enough was first mistake and second no accumulation or sense up mode..ooh yes what a nice camera to have as an ornament we I kept that camera as a reminder.......dont jump in....ask on the forum. ...walk before you learn to run.....recommended the Samsung scb2000 and the big brother the 4000 ..and a watec 902h (black n white) opted for the 2000 and its a brilliant camera to have not the easiest to learn but has all the specs required for deep sky av...A sensible buy and highly recommended ..price from 45 gbp to are you having a laugh mate.......davy

I haven't had much time to dig in, unfortunately, as a nasty bug caught me. Hopefully I'll have more to contribute this weekend. If I can keep my head attached through all this coughing. I need some Franken-bolts to secure it!

Got the IR Filter off today, now I just have to get some clear weather and a better power solution to play with it. Will probably mess around with solar first. We'll see... the weather hates me.

Thanks John, I'll get one of those for sure. Nothing worse than button mashing in the dark!
