Christmas ;).. birth of jesus..half ton turkey /sage n onion stuffing, a crappy jersey and socks from your mum Christmas Down Under.Taking it easy following surgery, enjoying sunshine, BBQ's, walking the dogs on the beach, assembling a new quadcoter with FPV etc. drooling over my MONO (de-Bayered) Canon DSLR 450D Peltier Cooled etc, and unwrapping various new tools for the workshop, fitting DRO scales to a milling machine and one of three lathes, so nothing exciting Down Under.OK Fellow Members, wherever you are and whatever you may be doing, have a Safe, Happy, & Enjoyable Festive Season.(Merry Xmas)Clear skies... Ahhhh . . . Chrimbo = Christmas Strange name for it! Yeah, Christmas here. Stinking hot with temps around mid 30's to low 40's as usual, mosquitoes galore, blowflies around the BBQ, hot sticky humid nights that are hard to sleep through, bushfires, etc etc. The usual stuff Plans are to try stay as cool as possible, hopefully get some clear nights so I can get broadcasting again, have all my kids home for Christmas eve and Christmas day lunch and dinner, and generally just try to kick back and enjoy the time without melting Merry Christmas to everyone.

Last outing of the year with Kilsyth thistle pipeband..we will be marching through the streets of Kilsyth at 00.15am to play out the old year and bring in the new...so if you're looking to sleep that night ear plugs are mandatory. This tradition has been going on for well over 100 yrs and is the only town in Scotland to do it.. we no longer use our uniforms to do this ..civvies are warmer and more practical at two in the morning lol..davy
