If you can't see it properly it is a Saxon ED80.
Exactly the same scope as in your link.
Synta make them and they are marketed under several names, paint jobs, and company names printed on them. Saxon, Skywatcher and Orion are the well known names. All the same scope.
They are fantastic for any form of Astrophotography and Video Astronomy. Make sure you use a Focal reducer with it though or you will only get a large faint slightly blurry image in a Video camera. I use a home-made 0.58 Focal Reducer, but lots of Focal reducers work fine with them.

I think a few of us on here use a ED80, and for the price he is asking it looks a good buy

Ask him for a description of the quality of the Primary Lens. See if he will send a really good quality photo showing the lens. Look for any pitting or scratches, or wear in the coating. They come standard with very good Crayford Focusers, but if they have a slight traction problem it can be easily fixed. Even good ones can be improved with a quick 5 minute fix. Crayford focusers are totally adjustable and can be set to perfection (or close to it).

I've seen worse with dust on the lens, but he does say the scope is not for him as he does visual which seems fair enough, and cleaning it is a easy job to do

Oh, and just a tip if you can't reach focus with a Focal Reducer. Just add an extension tube. Mine comes out far enough because I mounted the ED100 focuser because it has a longer focuser tube. But to make an easy extension tube for a standard ED80 focuser, remove the lens from a barlow (if you have a barlow that you don't use). Bingo, an empty extension tube

Phil, hang in there mate. Others didn't get great results straight up either. But the Sammy 2000 will give great results once you learn the best settings. There's quite a few Sammy 2000 owners in here so they should be along very soon to help you. Your results will improve with a few tips. Probably best to start a new thread asking for assistance with the Sammy 2000, whereas this one is for ED80 and they won't look in here to help you with camera settings. The best section to ask is in the 'Analogue cameras' section of the 'beginner/getting advice' forum: astrovideoforum.proboards.com/board/51/analogue-cameras

I agree with you Phil, it looks better at x256 and with the sharpness set to off, as soon as you put sharpness on it gives the stars that black halo around them even at setting 1
