been shopping wae carol..its hot hot hot today,,a lot of red haired Scotsmen will have sunburn today..lol..speaking of,,,im getting full highland regalia on in a minute to travel to Greenock ocean terminal to play with Kilsyth thistle pipe band playing farewell to a cruise ship heading out..looking forward to it...first time out at an engagement in a few years playing bass drum today....hopefully carol will get some pictures ...new blue tinted shades for occasion..

Knackered. .thats me just in ..the ship was delayed two buses loads of passenger's were stuck behind an accident on motor way..yeah ken got a load of photos of the band/ me.. need to bribe her to give them now..sun was blazing down and we weren't offered water ect whilst we were there..dehydrated where's my irn bru

Thanks davy, they are great Pics!!! Geez that ship is a biggun! I don't mean to put you, your band, or the shipping company down (they all look great) but what I gleaned from all your photos the most is the enormous size of the Number plates on your cars! Couldn't they make them any bigger? Sorry mate, but they really stand out in the first photo and I was amazed at how huge they are. I'm sure they could cut off at least 2 inches off each end. Apart from that, your Uniforms look grand.

My Plans this weekend. . Kilsyth civic week gala day on Saturday. .the Kilsyth thistle pipe band will be leading the parade, yours truly will be suited and booted and playing the bass drum again. FOLLOWING weekend the band is playing at the world famous gleneagles hotel / golf course, never been there so really looking forward to it..think it will be no1 kit ,, up with the toffs lol then the band will play at venues at the commonwealth games in Glasgow. .

Taking trip to Glasgow. .st george square..for glasgows armed forces day..carols son an army cadet in the parade..yesterday he was at stirling and marched up to david Cameron the prime minister and prince harry..gave a salute and shook there hands..not a bad day out for him came in buzzing.

Geez, the Royals certainly bring in crowds, wherever they go. They are popular here too.
Good on the lad. Something to remember for the rest of his life. I still remember seeing the Queen when I was a nipper, and the Queen Mum twice. Each time in Sydney.

No royals today..but it wasn't a big parade but nice to see golk come out and show respect to guys/gals putting it on the line..lot of old soldiers there with a lot of metal on there chest..n I dont think they got them with happy meals at McDonald's
