You lose the blue with this filter. Here is the trifid with same exposure and is nearby....but it is still better than without the filter.
I was having a pretty good night until I slewed to the Tarantula. The camera crashed against the tripod pole and ended my night abruptly. I thought at first it was synscan going crazy again but then noticed the alt/az coordinates were around 180/16 degrees I changed the synscan settings so that it wont go that low,particularly at the meridian.
