There is a warning been put out on the Internet for people NOT to use the abbreviated version of the date this year. On a lot of official (and non-official) forms and paperwork we often write the year in by only the last 2 numbers: 4/1/20, 4th Jan 20, etc. This year the smart suggestion is to make sure we write all 4 numbers to prevent fraud, theft, contractual arguments etc. The problem is, because we write just 20, anyone can add the next 2 numbers. 20 suddenly can become 2001, 2010, 2054, or whatever number some conman chooses to use to his advantage. It's a simple thing to do, just write 2020.
