Tried out the Risingcam IMX432 last night on the Rasa 8. I am more familiar with Sharpcap than Risingsky ,so used Sharpcap. I will refamiliarize myself with Risingsky next time as that is the appropriate software .Here is the Grus Quartet 19sec x 10 and 60sec x 4. No post processing. The gain was at the lowest setting. The moon was bright and close to Grus at 11 pm last night so far from ideal conditions. No filter I thought I saved a 20,30 and 60 sec single exposure but cant find them. I was impressed with the single exposures. There was little noise. Couldnt use the gain without overexposing and sending the histogram way over to the right. I will get some single exposures next time. 19sec x 10 60sec x 4
and a stretch in Fits Liberator 60s x 4 cheers Paul

I like the combination of the Rasa 8 and sensitive mono cameras for dim objects. A lot of the dim galaxies are small . The ZWO 290 mono is also very sensitive and with the smaller sensor and FOV should be a good companion for the IMX432 for the small objects. cheers Paul
