Hopefully going to get started on the astronomy soon,, getting a bit darker earlier now. Good news ,, couple of weeks back during high winds tree on spare ground outside carol's back garden ,blew half of it down,, council came and cut rest of it to the stump. Happy days,,this was a major fov killer,,so I'm a happy bunny,, local squirrels aren't as happy 😁

WELL severely fed up just now,, had kit ready week's ago and still no break in the weather, if it hasn't been rain it's been blanket clouds,, well apart from the night I was absolutely shattered and couldn't keep awake for love nor money,, but was all ready the next night,, and if course the weather god,, looked down and laughed his head off.
Sold off my star travel 102 to my boss on an az3 mount,, had been looking at 3d printers to move along some of my hobbies,,, Been struggling on the leather belt side,, wanted to create my own custom stamps,, thought the laser was way to go but cutting acrylic was a no no for making leather stamps,, And in sgian dubh side ,,i could not get the right embellishments I wanted. So i looked into a 3d printer, should hopefully do what I'm looking for... I bought a silhouette Alta or something like that,, lol I have one if there craft cutters for doing vinyl and good back up support,, so dived in,, basic software,,so downloaded freecad and learning it,, hopefully the printer here by end of the week,, Seen a few telescope bits n pieces have been done using 3d printers,, See how it all goes
