I've been watching Robin's broadcasts for a while now ... ever since I saw some of her photo posts on the NSN facebook page. ASI1600 cooled and nearly always 20 frames x 1min .... always absolutely stunning. In case readers on the VAF haven't heard nor seen her work I cannot resist posting this live screengrab off my pc while watching ... Thors Helmet 18 frames into the stack shown below ... stunning AP on the fly. I say AP on the fly cos it certainly isn't live video or near real time observing but much closer to true astrophotography. But instead of hours of data and hours of post processing it's just done on the fly in no more than 30 minutes. I've seen her slew to 7 or 8 objects on a night and every object is true AP. She is a master of the ASI1600 and Toaster! I leave the broadcast running in the background while I do other stuff and come back and glimpse once in a while. It helps to know that the timeframes are always the same - about 20 x 1min. So you do your own stuff and come back after 15 minutes to go Wow! BTW the image is cropped by Robin within Toaster about 50% yet very little noise and aberations for that crop factor.
