The 'Snake Valley Astronomical Association' now has a new web address, so forget about the old one, it doesn't go anywhere. I lost ability to open the Club website and people were telling me that they were getting 'Error 400', so I contacted Wix and they informed me that because the SVAA site used Flash it had to be shut down as Flash is no longer supported. So, I had to build a whole new website (I tried to make it look like the old one because people tell me they like it), but unfortunately I can't use the old web address, so we have a new one. It is: https:// ballaratman.wixsite.com/svastro

You've done a great job there Ken, just had another read through.
Noticed on the contact page, dates general public, see dates HERE, if I click 'Here' nothing happens is it suppose to be like that or have you not set any dates yet

I wish our club did something like your's, you guys are out there till 3.00am We don't have a site, we hire a room at the community centre with a large car park and we set our gear up on there but only from 7.30pm till 9.00pm which doesn't give you much time. In the past some of the members have gone up on Winter Hill and that as not always been successful because the low clouds roll in. We sometimes go to the local school which has just built a £18000 observatory www.sharplesschool.co.uk/the-awe-and-wonder-of-sharples-schools-singadia-observatory/

You aren't alone John. Most Astro Clubs don't have their own site and have to meet at local Halls or Schools and have to leave before midnight. Just as the good stuff is coming up.
Some clubs meet at members houses where they can observe all night as long as they don't disturb the neighbours.
