If I had one of those in my car I'd be too distracted by it, pressing buttons etc

Tried fitting it today,, bottom corners would not fit into dash,, buffed the plastic corners down with bench grinder, lol,, £204 stereo,,aye it will fit😂,,and it does now,, just roughly fitted it just now,, it is a right fit with the quad lock wiring harness plug. Need to take it back out and fit the usb cables and and rev camera cable.. Found out it has transit screws to take out dvd . Ordered a dash cam from eBay.
Lot of button fiddling to do,as ken points out,, the sat Nav is brilliant,, massive display 😀

Just all the toys to get me mobile and out doing Astronomy, cable to run to the back of the car still to do, it will power the panel with the 12 v sockets and twin usb ports,, ordered the female 2.1mm female power jack's ,,will fit a few of them in as well to power CCTV cameras and CCTV DVR,,will take this side slow so I can keep it all neat.
The initial idea is coming on The head unit will get the Skywatcher synscan app, zwo app and CAMFI added today and hopefully tested was a bit blowy yesterday ,.

] So it's pretty good news ,, downloaded the above apps Skywatcher synscan CAMFI Zwo app Google sky map Tested the Skywatcher az gti mount with the app on the car head unit and it works great,, how good did I feel,,, you get these kinda out of the box ideas and wonder,, will this work or will I look a right idiot,,, lucky this Time 😀. Zwo app,, not so good,, downloaded fine and recognising the zwo asi178 MC but ,, nothing on screen,, but to be fair I had troubles with it on my 7" Acer android tablet,, so a bit if work to do, maybe just needs configured.. CAMFI,, downloaded fine,, just needs testing. Google sky map.. downloaded ok and works fine,, ok it's in manual mode,,( no gyro in head unit) all you do is point your phone with Google sky map and look for something in your field of view and type it in your head unit search and you are good to go. Pretty pleased with Results from head unit ,,few software bugs,, says left door is open when it's actually the right and phone book isn't working correctly.. But it's a cheap unit for what you get.

Had the astro motor out last night,, moon was coming up nicely, so it was getting quit dark about 6.30 and I had the car in the car park, set up the az gti and wireless linked it to the car head unit, stuck on the ed80 and sw 0.8 focal reducer and zwo Asi178mc and plugged it into my laptop,, got about ten seconds of clear sky before the clouds shut me down,, I messaged around with settings and it's pretty sensitive, would like a half decent night to to test camera, but just not happening,, but set up wise it was quick and easy and great sitting in the car engine running keeping me warm,,usb cable went through drivers window and just left a bit of a gap. Laptop lasted about an hour running the zwo,, I have ordered a 12v car adapter to charge it up, coming next week,, so going well apart from weather

Yeah, I totally understand how you feel davy. My sunburn is stinging tonight. I should have worn a hat and sunscreen today while I was mowing the couple of acres around the observatory.

Bought this last night to add to my kit,w wanted one for a while always seemed to be selling for about £70 got this one for £34 , will start picking up filters soon, looking more at narrow band it's got me interested at the moment,, will be using it on the watec camera, was going to try and get out last night but still a bit run down,, four day week this week then finish work the following Thursday and go back to work on the 3rd of January,,, so hoping to get organised and get some tests done. Found some answers to one of my problems on the sharpcap forum,, I was having problems with my zwo asi178mc it was freezing the screen on the USB 3 port on my laptop seems to be a problem with a few zwo cameras, I blamed my USB 3 extension cable then found the camera worked on on usb2,,so I presumed the USB 3 port was breaking down,, not so,, zwo problem,,, don't see me buying anymore USB cameras in future had nothing but disappointment from them. Will stick to analogue and DSLR cameras
