Had clear skies last night and a bright moon, so about 7pm had the eq3 pro out, SW st102 scope and canon 450d modded camera, linked to laptop and byeos, astrotoaster, eq3 playing up few crunchy noises, didn't even bother doing a proper alignment,,new I was heading for a troubled night,,lol.. So I did a bit of star hopping and messed around in astrotoaster, I don't know how many times I shut it down and restarted it, stacking away getting an image, on to set up the levels and it froze up.. ended up doing ap with byeos,, I did do an aviary of some stars lol,,can't wait to get observatory up next year,,it was Baltic,, ended up mount would not slew to Andromeda galaxy,, but I could operate mount with direction buttons..half nine I packed up,, car was frozen when I was putting kit in the boot,, -2.5 on way to work today
Can see me dragging the heq5 from flat to carols,, can just imagine the earache I'm in for lol

Yep, you are moving into your winter.
I am so glad ours is over even though we are still getting wet cold weather (it is raining AGAIN right now).
I am looking forward to warmer nights.

We've had a change from the past two years and are getting some clear nights. Very transparent but often turbulent. But could always be worse!
