Lighting.. probably going for a house style spotlight type for warm room,, scope room will have twin lighting ,, bulkhead type lighting on walls,,white lightning to a normal switch and red light via a dimmer switch, I had thought about led lighting like harry uses,i had clear led lighting in the mk1 Astroshed and wasn't a fan of the light spectrum,,was a tiring light, made me want to sleep lol.

Viewing the scope.. The scope will monitored via CCTV camera from the warm room rather than a window,,yet again it's a security issue, scope room will have a locked door inside warm room and only access . Have rather a few cameras,, and screens from reverse camera systems are very cheap now. There will be a large monitor fitted to scope room to help in setting up, will be using eqmod and gamepad control as well..lol,, a lot of thought has went into this..

Look at this on eBay www.ebay.co.uk/itm/252697343359This is the type of heater, the d2 will keep the small warm room roasting but would be on constant trying to heat the scope room,, this size of heater will heat a small campervan nicely during the night as long as the doors aren't kept getting opened,, yip it is expensive to buy,,but running on diesel this is very cheap to run ,the fuel pump delivery is like a spit of fuel.. so if you have a remote observatory running on 12v batteries this is ideal heating system

Talking to the guy at work who does the overhauls on the night heaters and there might be a fixer upper😉 it's a webasto unit,, I actually like theses better because they don't lock down if they fail to start three times, just need to price up the spares and a fuel pump and switch to see if it's a cost effective fix or go for a new kit.

You gotta give it a go, tho.
Every little bit of distraction from grief can help and it's never a constant - grief comes in waves and having a go-to hobby or distraction helps.
