Don't know if many use it. I do - love.
Anyway the new version 5 for Android has just come out. And they have an introductory price. I already had v4 Plus, and the upgrade to v5 Pro was only $25 AUS.
Its all good - connected to my bluetooth scope easy. And the Pro has piles more objects than the Plus version.

I can connect my iPad to my Evolution via WiFi and it works ok, but I dont mind just controlling it via computer with Stellarium. I have Stellarium on my iPad too, but haven't tried to connect it to the Evolution. Not sure that's possible.

Not sure Rick. The new version has a much larger range of scopes it will connect. I can't see the Evo, has every other Celestron. Maybe its Celestron wifi for the evo as I can get my SkyQ to work with it ?

The base software works with the Evo as it uses the same NextStar protocol. What I'm unsure of is if it supports a bluetooth or wifi connection on the iPad versus a serial port connection on the laptop. So its not the protocol, but the transport layer (IT speak).
