Hello all -
Spent my first night outside, with my revolution imager trying to find globular clusters. I couldn't find
anything. I went to the website, and they suggested to use the "Sense Up" Settings, for most objects, as suggested.
I can't find that "sense up" in the menu anywhere. Can anyone suggest some settings in the "Setup Menu" to use?
Thanks Mike

I don't own the Revolution cameras but I've seen them in action and can attest to the fact their functions and their menu's are VERY similar to my Mallincam EX and VSS cameras. I'm sure the manufacturer has some info, so email them. But in the meantime ... here's some links which may help. Hopefully the first link will be a menu structure similar to yours. Even if not exactly the same it should be close. But the second line is going to be most beneficial as it outlines a lot more what each function does (Appendix 4 in that link), AND has a nice What to Set for different objects in the sky (Appendix G i that link). You'll see the same functions mentioned in both links ... just one describes a lot more what it does and some startup values for diff targets. www.tri-ed.com/pdf/NTH-CB700VF960-VFW960-VF5960_OSDManual.pdfwww.mallincam.net/uploads/2/6/9/1/26913006/micro_ex_user_manual.pdfJust realise though, that your sky conditions are different to others, and your scope maybe different ... so those settings in the second link are a STARTING point. More than likely you will have to fiddle around that spot. Its like having to take photo's with a totally manual camera! No AUTO setting. You will have to learn by tweaking each setting to see what they do and learn what works best for what you are looking at. Search YouTube for BallaratDragon Revolution Imager. Ken is on this forum and has good video on the R1. cheers

Mike, there are three different RI Menus and all three are explained on the RI website. It's quite easy once you see the Menu list explained. See here, pick which camera you have, and learn the Menu: www.revolutionimager.com/pages/which
