I've been thinking about getting a Triumph America poor mans Harley
It's not a Harley John.
My son's bike is a Vstar 650 Custom, with a few other custom parts added, like Harley Electraglide wide handlebars, Vance and Hines exhaust, Solo Seat, etc. The brand name is Vstar and is an American company and design, but they are made for them by Yamaha, so most people just call them Yammy Vstars.
He really wants my Harley Road King so I let him ride it occasionally
Cheers, Ken

Just looked on flea bay uk and there looks like a few different models , xvs 650 vstar dragster and a 1100 / 1300 models, they look better than the Triumph America.
Yep John, that one in the link is a 'Classic'. The 650 Vstars come in 2 versions: Custom and Classic. 'Custom' is like a Harley Softail, and the 'Classic' is like a Harley Touring bike.
Yes, they also come in different sizes, but the 650 is the most popular because it looks more like a Harley than the others, and it also has a wide range of accessories to customise it. The other sizes don't.
If you see a 650 Vstar called a 'Dragstar' it's the exact same bike. Some countries call it a Drag Star instead of a Vstar. They used to be called Drag Star's here in Oz until they changed it to Vstar.
Cheers, Ken
