First clear and not-freezing night in quite a while. I was focused on improving my procedure to get my mount aligned and improving my focusing with a bahtinov mask. Orion 80EDT APO scope on my Celestron AVX. The autoguider camera from Mallincam and my filter wheel with the Lumicon Deep Sky filter on. I snagged a few shots of Orion's Nebula at a few different exposures at different points. Eventually, I got to the point where I took a 1 minute 59 second exposure and did not see much in the way of star trails, so I am very pleased about that. Sorry about the warm pixels, I didn't try to hard to make dark frames that aligned to my exposure and gain settings.. Exposure 42s, Gain 3:

Nice Rick. Near 2 minute unguided exposures without star trailing is quite good. I can't boast that for my pier mounted Losmandy G-11. Most of my exposures are well under 90 seconds so I just haven't invested the time yet.
I'm thinking of getting a Mallincam SkyRaider AG mono to use with my Coronado PST. This scope is difficult to get a camera to work with but I've recently read the Skyraider AG will do so, even without a barlow.

Wow, how come so many hot pixels Rick?
Is that really the view available from a mallincam Skyraider AG?

Ken,
I think I had dark field correction enabled - but I only took dark fields for 30 seconds at 2.5 gain. So I was blowing it way over the dark field setting. Like I said, I didn't do a good job of planning for grabbing good shots... I was really looking for how well the mount was aligned and what kind of exposures I could push it to without star streaking!
The Orion 80EDT is F/6 so 480mm focal length. No focal reduction used, so this is the real field of view.
The F/6 and of course the Filter caused longer exposures than a reduced/full light setup.

OK, thanks Rick.
Yeah, the FOV looks great for being native, and no star trails shows your mount is good.

Tim,
I really like those little cameras. I've used them for Solar before too... I should post a comparison with the SSI shot I did.
A PST or small Lunt is on my wish list but I have been reading a lot on finding the right camera combo to come to focus with different fields of view. I'll be interested to see your results!
