Yes mate keep at it your now just fine tuning. If the focus is similar to mine on the 150p it can be adjusted to be tighter or looser to turn that may help with the flexing if its looser?

The focuser is nice and free, its the bracket that's the weak link, once the bracket starts to flex,the wheel just moves from one end of the focuser knob to the other just like a tram line effect and it ends up at the tube end. The bracket is 2mm thick.
Anyway I've decided to go for SW one, it will look a lot better

Had a think about it again, while I was nodding off after Christmas lunch and came up with this idea. If you remember a while back I made a solar finder out of a Incense stick holder, and had the cap left over which I didn't need, well this cap fits perfectly over the focuser knob and bingo it works a treat and the beauty of this way of doing it is that it is fixed to the side of the tube clamp with one screw so its quick to fit / remove and storing the scope back in its case.
