I have the ZWO ASI120MC (color).
I have used mine primarily with my 80EDT APO scope. I have used it for probably 60% solar, 30% lunar, and 10% planetary. I almost always use it with the Firecapture software, which allows (too many?) detailed adjustments to the camera.
I have broadcast both lunar and solar (white light) shows on NSN.
Due to the lack of 1.25" threading on the adapter, I use a filter wheel to apply filter effects. This also allows me to avoid using an extender in the image train.
I tried it out for an All-Sky cam, but I did not like it for that and opted instead for the Mallincam All-Sky camera. I will say, however, that this is likely due to end user error and unfamiliarity with the appropriate settings versus any issue with camera or software.
I have not spent a lot of time with Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars thru the ZWO. I am usually using my VRC8 scope and thus usually use my MC Jr Pro, which I like a lot for planetary. I do want to spend more time with it on the planets... I just cant seem to get clear evenings this Spring.
I have not spent any significant time trying to get DSOs. Again, I am usually using my Jr Pro for DSOs... but now that summer is approaching, I am going to be fighting the Hot Pixel monster. My Jr Pro gets real bad. I'll be looking for a different option somewhere.
I have not tried to use it as a guide camera, either.
Positives: - supports very fast shutter speeds - also supports longer exposures - detailed gamma, gain, exposure, camera throughput and other settings - easy to tweak settings to dial in best view - supports binning
Negatives: - detail of controls can make it hard to initially find right settings - lack of threading on adapter for filter installation

I use my inova camera [which has the same sensor] as Rick/Shevill, pity firecapture doesn't recognize the inova as I think the software is better than the software that comes with the inova.

In my opinion, FireCapture which comes with ZWO cameras which also works with several named brands, is the best camera/telescope, filter wheel control software I have ever used. It does so much and so flexible, highly recommended. Yes, I agree, a pity it does not work with many others. I talked to Torsten about this and he says it is a LOT of work to maintain support for so many camera's, users and the wide variety of computer configurations. he has a good point there. Real winter day down here now, no astronomy.
Clear skies... Shevill

I posted your comment to Torsten, here is his reply:
Shevill,
Thanks for fwd. I really appreciate if people in some way recognize all those countless hours I put into this so far.
Regards,
Torsten
