First of sorry for another thread Or maybe I should make one always got a problem ? Certainly frustrating at times ha Anyway sharp cap in daytime can focus a great clear picture inside On moving the camera outside at night I've noticed a lot of noise when sens is up lot of pixels on screen Finding quite confusing Also I took it out to try and basically get focus on stars tonight I tried getting camera setting close to as I see on YouTube Now do I need to record in sharp cap or should stars show pretty well instantly once focused while previewing And I know silly newby questions But what with the few minutes trying to setup and test things out between the great uk cloads and rain It sometimes can become frustrating Thanks for any advice si

Yeah Si, the night views with Sensup will have more noise, because the chip is heating up from doing longer exposure frames. And any hot pixels will show up brighter because they are getting . . . well . . hotter too.
And if you go even longer sensup the warm pixels (pixels starting to stuff up) will also start showing up. With time they will eventually also become hot pixels.
And if you look at a bright night sky or bright object like the Moon you will also see if you have any dead pixels. They appear black.
Most of these Pixel faults don't show up in daytime at normal fast video rate.
